Chalicothere

Chalicothere

$7,250.00

A very finely preserved upper skull of the extremely rare perissodactyl, Chalicothere, with clear signs of predation in the area of the sagittal crest. Complete skulls of this large, odd mammal are practically unheard of and to have one with this degree of preservation and distinctive Nebraskan chocolate brown mineralization is, indeed, exceptional. The atlas vertebra is preserved with the skull.
